HAMPTON HELPING HANDS FOR DISPLACED UKRAINIANS FUNDRAISERS (HHHDU) – HHHDU will have a 60’s style coffee house fundraiser, “Kafe Kiev”, this Friday, April 4th at Hampton United Church from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Admission and refreshments are “free will” – however, the price of coffee has been frozen at the 1969 price of .50 cents a cup.
There is a roster of popular local entertainers and, perhaps, a couple Ukrainian acts.  See poster on the bulletin board.

Eritreans Helen and Heldana

GOOD NEWS - You may all remember Helen, one of our sponsored newcomers from Eritrea. Helen moved to Calgary last year to go to school and is still there working at a nursing home while she continues her classes.
Helen came to us in 2020 and has been waiting for her daughter, Heldana, to come from Ethiopia.  In the middle of Covid and then a civil war in Ethiopia, Helen lost touch with Heldana
for several months.
Helen has just received good news - Heldana has been issued a Permanent Resident Visa and will finally be coming to Canada! Immigration does not move quickly, so it may still be several months or a year before Heldana arrives, so continued prayers are appreciated.

    BOTTLE DRIVE
     - the parish supports our refugees through various means, one of those being an on-going bottle drive.  If you have bottles, cans, etc. you'd like to donate, you can drop them off at Hampton Recycling, located at 401 William Bell Dr. in Hampton.  Let them know the returnables are for Blessed Trinity Parish and the recycling centre will send all monies raised to our office.
