Father Don's May 9 Message
Depending on what Covid-19 recovery level we are (this region is currently in 'yellow' ) we may have to restrict the number of people who can attend Mass at one time. Please continue to be vigilant about hand washing, respect the 6' physical distancing requirements, limit your contacts, and wear a face mask that covers your nose and mouth. We're on the right path but not out of the pandemic yet.
Still struggling to get used to wearing a face mask? This prayer was developed by someone like you. Have a read, it helps.
We also ask that you familiarize yourself with our parish protocols by <clicking here>.
Regular Weekend Mass Times:
St. Anthony's Saturday at 4:00pm
St. Alphonsus Sunday at 9:30am
St. Bridget's Sunday at 11:30am
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: the first Friday of every month at 7:00pm at St. Bridget`s.
Weekday Mass at St. Alphonsus: Tuesdays at 6:30pm. Mass is held in the main church, not the little side room, so there is plenty of room for social distancing!
“Today, as pilgrims in search of hope, we cling to you, Risen Jesus. We turn our backs on death and open our hearts to you, for you are Life itself.” (Pope Francis, Easter Vigil 2020).
May the light of Christ shine brightly in each of us, so that by our witness others will come to know that the Lord has truly risen from the dead. May we encounter the risen Jesus in a personal way this Easter, and find in him the fullness of joy, peace, and life itself.
With great hope in the joy of the resurrection, I remain faithfully yours in Jesus with Mary. -Bishop Christian Riesbeck. For the full message <click here>.
