VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT ST. ALPHONSUS – PLEASE consider volunteering to help St. Alphonsus to thrive!! For years, faithful parishioners have worked on numerous committees to tend to the needs of this church. Whether it’s the Environment or Cemetery Committee, readers, altar servers, music ministry, counters or prayer composers, ALL are integral to the smooth day to day operation of our place of worship. Some current volunteers would like to “retire”, again, but a sense of duty compels them to continue. They need your help. If you have some time available, please contact the office at (506) 832-3327.

FINANCE COMMITTEE – The parish Finance Committee is looking for new members. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Father Savoie or the parish office for more information. The efficiency of this committee is integral to the overall well-being of the parish.

CEMETERY NEWS

CORPUS CHRISTI EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION - All are invited to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for the celebration of the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ. On Sunday, June 7, immediately following the 10:00 a.m. Mass, a Eucharistic Procession will take place, proceeding prayerfully around the Cathedral block as a public witness to our faith in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. The procession will conclude with Benediction, followed by the 12:00 noon Mass celebrated by Bishop Riesbeck. “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever.” (John 6:51) All are welcome - come and be part of this beautiful expression of our Catholic faith.
