SIX DAY GUIDED RETREAT - The Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception and the Villa Madonna are presenting a six-day guided retreat hosted by Fr. Paul Hansen, C.Ss.R. from July 11-17 at the Villa Madonna Retreat House in Rothesay. Cost is $85/day and includes accommodations and meals. STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL AT ST. ALPHONSUS! - ham, potato salad, coleslaw, roll, and of course, strawberry shortcake! $15 per person, drive thru only at the back of the church on Sunday, July 24 between 3pm - 6pm. Place your order before July 19 by calling Art (832-4652), Don (832-4524), or Marc (832-5608). Please call between 6pm - 8pm.
WORLD DAY OF GRANDPARENTS - Pope Francis is inviting all diocese to celebrate this day together and ensure “no one lives this day in loneliness.” The theme chosen by the Holy Father for the occasion is "In old age they will still bear fruit" (Ps 92:15).
STORAGE SPACE NEEDED - Looking for room to store some larger furniture for a refugee family that will arrive this summer. If you've got a dry basement, garage, or other place that would be suitable to store furniture for a few months, please contact Karen Bethune at 506-647-0982.
SPECIAL COLLECTION - On the Feast of Corpus Christi, which we will celebrate on June 19, a special “Cathedral Restoration Collection” will be taken up around the Diocese. Envelopes will be provided at St. Anthony’s, St. Alphonsus, and St. Bridget’s before Mass for your use.
ST. BRIDGET'S FUNDRAISER - will be hosting a new card game called Show me the Money on Friday evenings starting May 6 to the end of October (weekly). Doors open at 7:00 and the games begin at 8:00. $1.00 per sleeve which includes 3 cards and you can play as many as you like. There will be a canteen and bar. All proceeds go to the Building & Maintenance Fund. Come and join us and have some fun.
BOTTLE DRIVE - the parish supports our refugees through various means, one of those being an on-going bottle drive. If you have bottles, cans, etc. you'd like to donate, you can drop them off at Hampton Recycling, located at 401 William Bell Dr. in Hampton. Let them know the returnables are for Blessed Trinity Parish and the recycling centre will send all monies raised to our office.
