REFUGEE SPONSORSHIP – Good news!  Another of our sponsored families will be arriving soon!  Gebremedhn Gebremskel (we will call him “Gary”), his wife, Gebriel, and three children, a girl, Afreta and two boys, Noah and Heseina.  Afreta is six years old; Noah is nine years old and Heseina is twelve years old.  They will be arriving in Saint John at midnight on May 2nd.
“Gary’s” family was co-sponsored by St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Rothesay and they will handle the settlement support.  They have already found an apartment in Saint John and between our two churches, we have enough donated furniture to set them up.  They are originally from Eritrea but have been in Israel for several years and will be very happy to join her brother Mikele in Saint John.  They are especially looking forward to celebrating the Orthodox Easter service in Moncton on May 5th.  Thank you for supporting the Gebremskel’s and all the other families, through your prayers and donations!

    BOTTLE DRIVE
     - the parish supports our refugees through various means, one of those being an on-going bottle drive.  If you have bottles, cans, etc. you'd like to donate, you can drop them off at Hampton Recycling, located at 401 William Bell Dr. in Hampton.  Let them know the returnables are for Blessed Trinity Parish and the recycling centre will send all monies raised to our office.
