Helping Hands for Ukraine

This is a local Hampton group, of like minded individuals, that would like to ease the transition of Ukrainian newcomers arriving in our area.  We have a representative in this group as well as from the United Church of Hampton and other churches in our area.  This newly formed committee would like to hear from you.
How can you help?
The group is looking for clothing for both children and adults; help with meals or groceries, to mention two.  Of course, there is more  furniture, child care, finding employment, monetary donations, assistance learning English, etc.  Perhaps you could help with renovations in a house or apartment.
The attached sheet can be completed and returned to St. Alphonsus.  It can either be dropped off at the office during regular office hours or dropped into the locked “mail box” on the wall to the left of the office door.  It could also be returned via email.  If you want to make a donation, for which you would get a tax receipt for a gift of over $10.00, it is preferred that you donate by CHEQUE or money order/bank draft.  Please make payable to: Hampton United Church and on the memo line write “Helping Hands for Ukraine”.
We thank you for whatever contribution you can make.

There are many ways to help/donate.  There is an information sheet and special envelope available in the foyer at St. Alphonsus.  The completed form and envelope can be dropped off at the office during regular office hours or dropped into the locked “mail box” on the wall to the left of the office door.

    BOTTLE DRIVE
     - the parish supports our refugees through various means, one of those being an on-going bottle drive.  If you have bottles, cans, etc. you'd like to donate, you can drop them off at Hampton Recycling, located at 401 William Bell Dr. in Hampton.  Let them know the returnables are for Blessed Trinity Parish and the recycling centre will send all monies raised to our office.
